Devanahalli is a taluk in Bengaluru Rural district. It sits next to Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL), on the north side of the city.

Roads, metro and the airport

Airport: KIAL handled 44.47 million passengers in FY 2025-26, per Deccan Herald (May 2026).
NH 44: Also called Bellary Road, it links the airport side to Hebbal and the city.
STRR: The Satellite Town Ring Road's Doddaballapur–Hoskote section has carried tolled traffic since November 2023, per Deccan Herald.
Metro: BMRCL is building the Hebbal–airport section. Deccan Herald reported in August 2026 that it is unlikely to open before September 2027.
Near the layout: Adarsh puts Stonehill International School and the Padukone-Dravid Centre about 5 minutes away.

The airport metro ends at the terminals. Devanahalli town and most plotted layouts sit further out. So you will still need a road trip to reach a station. Traffic on NH 44 near Hebbal can add a lot of time at peak hours.
